A typical Saturday...or evening for Tim.
Lily was sick last Friday and Uncle Scott prescribed some neb treatments for her. Thank goodness she's feeling better.
This is after the dogs ran and played in the snow for 20 minutes.

Capen Project Life

Soph reading a bedtime story to Lily.
The girls got a new easel from Ikea. Emma's drawing "Pasquale" from Tangled.
Soph took this one. Lily after a bath.
A typical morning. Lily hangs out in the bathroom while daddy gets ready and then Emma and Soph come down.
The first photo of Lily sleeping in her swing.

My great friend, Andy, has sent me a new project kit called "Project Life." The kit contains a photo album, photo sleeves and journaling cards. The idea is to take one photo per day of "your life" and then write a little something about it. I started it about a week and a half ago. The actual kits are backordered right now, but I've started taking the photos and filling out my own cards. I'll post some of the pics I take.

Happy Birthday, Grandma!

Christmas at the Capens

Wanstrath Christmas

We had a fun time at Dad's for Christmas. Soph got a hold of the camera and took most of the photos. Unfortunately, from her short vantage point, the photos aren't the most flattering...you can see up most peoples' noses :)

Christmas Day

Finally, Santa showed up at our house. The wait seemed like an eternity for the girls. The favorite gift that Emma got was a Rapunzel dress and Soph's favorite was her Dora.
The aftermath.
Lil thinks it too early.

So happy about getting that dress.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, Nana, Gary, Adam & Renee came over for dinner. The girls were very excited for Santa to come that night. They put brownies and chocolate milk out for him.

Putting down some "Reindeer Food (oatmeal and glitter)" in the side yard.
This is why I buy lint rollers in bulk. He actually pulled that pillow down on its side so he could lay on it. Silly dog. The fireplace is his favorite place to take a nap.

American Girl Store - Chicago

We loaded up the car with our warmest clothes and headed up to Chicago to go to the American Girl Store over the weekend. Emma picked out a girl with the same color hair and eyes and her and Sophie picked our her favorite Bitty Baby. I joked that Lily was my Bitty Baby, so here is a photo of us with our "babies."
