We're home!

We got to home a little early, which was just wonderful. Who can sleep well in a hospital. We made our traditional stop at the nearby Starbucks drive thru on the way home...mocha for Mommy, venti bold coffee for a tired Daddy and milks for the girls.Resting on Mommy's lap. You can see Tank snoozing under there, too.
Happy to have her home.

Lillian "Lily" Elizabeth Capen has arrived!

She was born at 2:47pm and weighs 6lbs, 13oz and is 20in long. She has a lot of dark hair like Sophie did. She is just beautiful. What a little blessing. We are so lucky! I'll send more pics later. Thanks again for all your well wishes and messages today. It has meant so much...

Monday is the day!

I'm still scheduled for my c-section on Monday at 2pm. We have to be there at noon and hopefully things will get started on time. If all goes as scheduled, we should see this little sweetie by quarter after 2! Excited and nervous. I can't promise that photos will be on the blog too quickly as I am the one that posts everything, not Tim. And for the first 8 hrs or so I'll still have some pretty good pain meds on board. Who knows what I would post! Better to not post under the influence. I promise to get a pic or two up as soon as possible, though.

Thanks for all the well wishes you've been sending. It makes me feel good to know that you'll be thinking about us on Monday. Until then... :)
