We had Emma's 5th birthday party this weekend and man, was she excited from the minute she woke up that morning! It was hard to wait until 4pm to start the party. She loved all of the gifts she received and loved having so many friends and family members to share it with.

The girls loved that Great Grandma was here.

Daddy found "Anastasia" figurines on ebay a few months ago for her cake. She picked out the butterflies.

The State Fair

We went to the fair again last week to watch the draft horse hitches. The girls loved it! We met Nana and Uncle Gary there and shared a lot of food...elephant ear, corndog, milkshake, grilled cheese and curly chips! They also got to feed some sheep, goats and calves.

Here are the ballerina costumes they put together, which is a swimsuit, tu-tu, tights and socks. Don't they look fancy.

Everyone enjoyed the cake. It had tons of icing!

Soph's Birthday Party

Soph got a pillow pet from Addie, Romie and Sully and Emma had already snagged her lipgloss to "test it out" for her.
A Barbie Laptop!
Fun in the pool!

Saturday: Renee's Shower

This photo cracks me up because Soph was just ticked at Emma for bossing her around and telling her where to stand. There's a good one.
Dresses from our friend Joni.
Sweet Soph.
This is the dog cake that they picked out at Marsh that day.
Since Soph got a new sparkly dress, Emma had to run upstairs and find the fanciest dress she had so they could dance that night to the "Belle" music.
Here is the extra fancy dress from England and a baby that Emma got her.
Mommy and Daddy got Soph a musical jewelry box that plays the "Beauty and the Beast" song.
Soph got a special surprise gift from our friends, Mike, Joni, Owen and Sam, in England. It was here at the house when we got back from the fair that night. Perfect timing!
They loved this little bobcat vehicle. They even put on the seatbelts.
Soph loved sitting on all the display tractors to pretend she was mowing like Daddy.

Happy Birthday, Soph!

We started off Soph's birthday weekend on Friday by going to the State Fair. She got to ride a pony for the first time. She wasn't too sure about it at first, but then was pretty proud of herself for staying up there on that "big horse." They got to ride the carousel also, eat grilled cheeses, milkshakes, curly chips and hot dogs. We ended the day with presents and a dog cake at home.
