Thunder shirt

Liesl is our worrier! She's 5&1/2 and just gets pretty spazzy sometimes about things. For a year, my mom has told me to try a "Thunder Shirt" for her. I put it on her for the first time last night and I think she looked more depressed than calm, but I'll take that over the spazzy any day! We'll see how it goes.

Semi-organized kind of life...

A mom on one of the blogs I follow everyday, Sunny Side Up, posted about her new planner. Come to find out it's the same as mine just a different color. This is called the Family Plus and in my search of planners that fit my needs, this one fits to a "T." I thought I would post a pic of our month and just how full it gets. I learned to write things in with a pencil as there's a lot that gets changed! My grandma used pencil quite a lot and now I know why.

Table Project

We've owned this table for about 3 years now and it has been shown some serious love! It's very sturdy, but the poly coat on the surface has not held up at all...so time for a refurb. I have purchased Annie Sloan chalk paint in "Chateau Gray" that I think I will paint the chairs and the table legs. As for the tops, I plan to sand and restain and coat with a few layers of wax. I'll keep you posted:)

Waiting...

We wait in the school pick up line everyday. We're usually here a few minutes early so I can have a few quiet minutes before the witching hours begin. Lily doesn't mind it because she can watch her Leapfrog DVDs.

I'm back!

Haven't blogged in so long! Headed down for an IU game last weekend. Walked through campus. Here's a spot where Tim and I would meet up between classes. 

 

Tiny Dancers

E & S have dance class every week and they have to wear their class leotard and hair up in a ballerina bun. Lily so wants to go too so we let her at least dress the part for class that night.
