The Zoo with Friends

Emma is a pro at this. She has fed them almost every time we've been to the zoo.

Buzzing the Neighborhood

We went flying today with Poppy when he brought his plane up for it's annual inspection to Shelbyville Airport.  We took off from Shelbyville and flew north 5 minutes to buzz our neighborhood. Emma wanted to buzz Tank and Liesl. She thought they would be able to hear us. She also wanted to yell for Olivia, Owen and Addie, hoping they would see us in the air. 

It's was a bit of a bumpy ride with the wind. Emma loved it as she yelled down to everyone. Soph sat on my lap and seemed to be talking or singing something the whole time but she, like Mommy, was ready to be back at the airport. Back on the runway Emma said, "That was fun! Let's go again!" Soph said, "I ready get out!"

This was right before take-off. Soph: "What the h**l are we getting ready to do?!" I love that Emma is smiling at her like that. Classic Emma and Soph!

I thought the Ariel socks added just the right touch. She has two skirts on for extra fluff and "poofiness."

Summer

Emma thinks she can "talk" to Sophie through her baby monitor. She can't understand why it's only one way communication.

Gulf Shores

We're on vacation in Gulf Shores, AL this week and having a great time. Our condo is right on the beach and so comfortable. Emma and Nana get to share a bedroom, which Emma thinks is so cool. And Soph is bunking with us. We try to use the pack n play, but she prefers the middle of our king bed. 

 Emma loves the pool here. She just swims around with her floaties. Soph is not much of a fan of the beach. I think it's the hot sand and waves. She seems a bit afraid of the ocean.

 We've eaten our body weights in Royal Reds (shrimp). Sooo good!

 The week is going way too fast!
