Baby pic

I had an ultrasound today because the md wanted to see how big she is. I was measuring a little bigger on my last appt. So here is a profile picture of the little gal. The blobby thing above it is her arm. The u/s showed she has a lot of hair, which I didn't realize it would show. She pointed it out to me and I was surprised by how much I could see. I'm so excited to find out if she has dark or light hair.

Basement

Tim and I put carpet down in the basement last weekend. What a project! Not something I would recommend doing while pregnant! But...it looks great! The girls love it. Lot of open space to run around.

If anyone is getting rid of an old tv and/or VCR I would love to take it off your hands! I thought I had a tv that worked, but when I plugged it in, nothing. I need a VCR for down there because we have so many disney VHS tapes the girls love to watch.

C/S is scheduled!

I just got off the phone with the ob office and my c-section is scheduled for October 25th at 2pm, so that will be her birthday! Crazy that we have an actual date!

I'm glad that we should be home for Halloween that weekend. I would be sad to miss seeing the girls dressed up.

Emma's first day of Pre-K!

Emma had her first day of Pre-K this week, too. I could tell she was a little nervous about having new teachers, a new classroom and new friends. She was wondering who she would play with since she and her best friend, Addie, are not in the same class this year. She had a good day though. She told me about it all finally at dinner last night...how she helped someone out of a sleeping beauty dress and how she picked up.

Soph's First Day of Preschool!

Soph was SO excited to start preschool this morning. It was the first thing she asked about when she woke up. She got dressed quickly and was ready to go. Daddy stayed home a little later so we could all drop her off. We pulled up to the door and she had already started to unbuckle herself. She hopped out and walked right in like the big girl she is.

Mrs. Moon said she insisted on being called "Sophia" instead of "Sophie." ??

I can tell it kind of wore her out. She came right home, found her blanket and wanted to lay on the couch to watch "The Berenstain Bears." I hope she takes a short nap on our way to a baby appt today otherwise she may be a bear herself this evening.

We had Emma's 5th birthday party this weekend and man, was she excited from the minute she woke up that morning! It was hard to wait until 4pm to start the party. She loved all of the gifts she received and loved having so many friends and family members to share it with.

The girls loved that Great Grandma was here.

Daddy found "Anastasia" figurines on ebay a few months ago for her cake. She picked out the butterflies.

The State Fair

We went to the fair again last week to watch the draft horse hitches. The girls loved it! We met Nana and Uncle Gary there and shared a lot of food...elephant ear, corndog, milkshake, grilled cheese and curly chips! They also got to feed some sheep, goats and calves.

Here are the ballerina costumes they put together, which is a swimsuit, tu-tu, tights and socks. Don't they look fancy.

Everyone enjoyed the cake. It had tons of icing!
