Emma, The Cowgirl

Emma had her last horse lesson of the session and really enjoyed it. She actually made her horse, Stella, trot. She was nervous at first about it, but then I could tell she was pretty darn proud of herself afterwards.

I thought they looked so funny when Tim "announced" these Royal Highnesses."  Soph actually had a wig on for a few minutes.

Soph just pee-peed in the little potty on her own!!! Yeah, good job big girl!

Emma's Bike

Emma got her first bike on Mother's Day. Of course, it is a princess bike. Daddy picked it out for her. She was pretty frustrated at first figuring out how to pedal. She kept kicking it back and braking. She finally started to get it. It will take some more time. 

This is when she first started. I guess she needed a drink after that strenuous 6 feet of riding! 

We had Mother's Day breakfast with Nana and Uncle Adam at Compton's in Shelbyville. Soooo good! Best breakfast ever! And then they topped off their syrup-y pancakes with some blue ice cream. Thanks, Uncle Adam!

Puttin' On the "Ricks"

Tim's Surprise Party

Tim's surprise party was a success...he was really surprised! A little shocked I think. We had such a fun time sharing it with our family and friends. Thanks so much to all of you who came to celebrate with us! 

Adult Prom

Tim and I went to an adult prom put on by an Indy radio station last weekend with our neighbors, Mike and Joni. We had a great night out with no "Mommy, Soph took that from me!"
