Splash Mountain

The look on Tim's face is priceless!! I usually never buy these photos, but this one was so worth it.

Disney Trip

As most of you know, we went to Disney World last week and went to the Magic Kingdom for two days. It was a fun trip overall, not counting the few meltdowns and the heat. We arrived Thursday and played and ate at Downtown Disney and then Friday headed to the park for the day and stayed for the Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which was awesome. Only about 1/3 of the crowd, so we could ride anything with little or no waiting time and see all the characters up close with no more than a 10 minute wait. I dressed up as Snow White, Tim was Prince Charming (which he says he is everyday), Nana was the Fairy Godmother, Emma was Minnie Mouse and Soph was a baby Tinkerbell. It was so fun to dress up. We got so many comments on them. We even got a certificate from a Disney person for the best dressed up family. Now if that doesn't deserve a night in the Cinderella Suite, I don't know what would!

Saturday we had breakfast with Pooh and friends which the girls got a great kick out of. Emma just has the biggest smile on her face in every photo like she was thinking "this is just awesome, I'm actually eating with Pooh!" She got to meet 3 princesses she hasn't met before: Snow White, Jasmine and Ariel. She was awe struck by Ariel. She really impressed her.

Soph was not so cool with hanging out in the stroller a lot as she is on the verge of walking. She wanted to be out and someone to hold her hand so she could walk everywhere. And if not, she screamed bloody murder. She was the token screaming baby on the plane AND the bus to the park, so yeah for us. That was fun. Nothing like sweating in the morning from wrestling a writhing, screaming baby.

Soph's favorite thing on the trip was our breakfast with Pooh on Sunday. She actually kissed him on his nose several times. I'll try to add the short video we have of it.

Emma's favorite thing was probably riding Peter Pan, which we rode at least 5 times. In true form, she really enjoyed the carousel too.

Overall a very fun trip. I'll know better next time to a: not go when it's still too hot and b: build in a rest day between going to the parks.

Emma's first school photo

I think this has to be the cutest school photo ever!! She said the photographer told her to say "monkey!" It worked so well.

Serious Soph

She looks like she's saying, "I am dead serious."

Children's Museum

The girls and I went to the Children's Museum today. It was so nice outside though. I gave Emma the option of the Zoo or Museum and she chose the museum because she wanted to go on the carousel. However, when we got there it was closed for repair!! She handled it well though. We played for a long time in the Playscape at the sand and water tables. Sophie had a good time, too.
