The Fair

We all love the dairy barn with grilled cheeses and milkshakes.
Emma likes the vanilla ones.

Soph likes the chocolate ones.
We finally had some really good local corn on the cob.
Emma ate two ears!

We have donuts!

The donut fryer that many of you have heard me laboring over is working great. The county fair started yesterday and we got the fryer going for the first time. I'll post more pics later. If you're local, Tri Kappa will selling them at the fair all this week. Powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar.

Happy 4th!

Sophie just loves patriotic music. She has ever since we took her to the Symphony when she was a baby. She danced all evening with a wand or flag in hand.

Dresses from England!

We received a package from our great friends living in England right now. The dresses are perfect for our girlie girls...so twirly! Thanks Joni!!
Notice how Emma has hers spread out like a princess.

Visit with friends

Our friends, Chris, Lindsay and Cooper were in town from California and came over to play for a bit.
I think there is some flirting going on here :)

Painting furniture

The girls painted little hutches and dressers for their dolls. Emma, of course, had to add glitter paint to hers to add some flair.

Father's Day

A lion at the zoo.

At Le Peeps.

For Father's Day this year we had a big breakfast at Le Peep's downtown Indy and then headed to the zoo to see the new cheetah exhibit. It was so hot though, so we didn't stay very long that day.
