Emma started a dance class this week called Jumping Jacks. She thinks it's ballet class because she wears ballerina leotards and shoes. They do a lot of balance work and rhythm. She goes with her best friend, Addie, which she thinks is just great!
Emma had a good first day back to school. She now goes 3 days a week for a few hours. A lot of her friends from last year are in the same class this year, which makes it more fun for her and she also has one of the same teachers. After a few weeks, she let me drop her off at the door instead of walking her in. She just needed a few weeks to prepare herself for that. She likes things done on her time schedule. She needs time to mentally prepare, I guess.

When it was time for cake all the ladies turned to princesses.

Soph opened her gifts from us tonight...Minnie dress from Mommy and Daddy, a princess bubble maker from all of us, an Ariel nightgown from Emma and a panda bear from all of us.
This is the craziest that Emma's-Crazy-Face gets.
Emma was a trooper. It was a struggle for her to see Soph get gifts and special attention. Good thing her birthday is just around the corner.
We started a trend for 2nd birthdays. We took the girls to Chicago's pizza for dinner tonight. The plan had been to have spaghetti, but Mommy was too tired from the zoo so pizza it was. We took Emma to Chicago's on her 2nd birthday. 
Soph was pretty excited opening presents this evening.
She got a panda from the zoo today that Mommy had sneaked into the stroller...thanks, Joni!
Soph wanted to sit with Joni and Owen on the train today.
